Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Packstack, LLC (“Hypertxt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit hypertxt.ai (the “Site”), join our product update list, or use the Hypertxt application. Hypertxt is an SEO/GEO AI citation content platform for brand-aware search and answer-engine workflows.

By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you join our update list, we collect the information you submit through the form, such as your email address and optional name. When you use the app, we may collect account details, project details, brand notes, source URLs, keywords, Search Console-selected properties, article briefs, generated drafts, publishing settings, billing plan selections, and support messages you choose to provide.

Provider and integration information. If you connect Google Search Console, bring-your-own provider keys, or publishing integrations, we store the configuration needed to operate those features. Sensitive provider keys and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest in the app database.

Billing information. Paid purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive purchase, subscription, plan, payment status, saved payment method state, and customer identifiers from Stripe, but we do not store full payment card numbers.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, approximate location (country/region), browser type, device information, referring pages, and pages viewed. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and you should not submit any through the update form, project inputs, article briefs, or support messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Add you to our product update list;
  • Create and manage your account;
  • Provide Search Console opportunity syncing, content generation, keyword research, brand ingestion, export, and publishing features;
  • Process one-time purchases, subscriptions, billing state, credits, and plan entitlements;
  • Send you product, account, support, and launch updates where permitted (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time);
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and app;
  • Understand aggregate traffic and usage trends; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (e.g., joining the update list), our legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Site), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Cookies & Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. We operate our own consent banner rather than a third-party consent manager. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so that we can honor it on later visits.

Non-essential technologies are loaded only after you accept them: product analytics (PostHog) and affiliate-referral tracking (Affonso). If you reject, these are not loaded and set no cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookies” control in the Site footer, or through your browser settings.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our hosting and email infrastructure (e.g., Cloudflare), analytics providers, and affiliate-tracking tools — solely to provide their services to us;
  • Legal and safety recipients, where disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public; and
  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain update-list, account, project, billing, and operational information for as long as needed to provide the service, fulfill the purposes described above, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and deletion is legally and technically permitted.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@hypertxt.ai. You may also unsubscribe from marketing or launch emails at any time using the link in each message. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
