# Use Hypertxt safely from Claude Code

Use the configured `hypertxt` MCP server rather than shelling out to the
Hypertxt CLI.

Start read-only: show account status, remaining article credits, projects, and
the newest articles awaiting review. If the MCP server is unavailable, explain
the missing configuration instead of inventing results.

For a content plan, query the project's connected Google Search Console data.
Report the date window and filters, and distinguish metrics from your
recommendation.

Before calling `generate_article`, show the exact project, article template,
title, keyword, brief, and one-credit cost. Wait for explicit approval.
Retrieve the complete result before proposing review. Wait again before any
state change, GSC refresh, destination draft, or live publish.

Never ask me to paste an `htx_` API key into this conversation. Report every
resource ID and external URL used.
